Create your organization
Start a new organization in NirmaanOne: enter its name, GSTIN, your email and a password, and you become its administrator.
Create your organization
Use this page once, to start a brand-new organization in NirmaanOne. The person who creates it becomes its first user and its administrator, and invites everyone else afterwards.
Where to find it
On the Sign in page, click Create an account under "New organization?". Anyone can open it; you don't need an account. If you are already signed in, the app takes you to the Dashboard instead.
If your company already uses NirmaanOne, don't create a second organization. Ask your administrator to invite you from Settings > Users.
What you see
The heading "Create your organization" and "You will be the administrator. Team members can be invited afterwards." Three of the four fields are required; the GSTIN is optional.
| Field | What to enter | Checks you may see |
|---|---|---|
| Organization name | Your company's name, 2 to 100 characters. | "Use at least 2 characters", "Use at most 100 characters", or "An organization with this name already exists." |
| GSTIN | Optional. Your GST identification number, for example 27ABCDE1234F1Z5 (the hint reads "15-character GST identification number; optional, you can add it later under Settings > Organization"). Letters are turned into capitals as you type; leave it blank if the registration is still pending. | "Enter a valid 15-character GSTIN, e.g. 27ABCDE1234F1Z5", or "An organization with this GSTIN already exists" |
| Your own work email (the hint reads "You will sign in with this email"). | "Enter a valid email address", "Use at most 100 characters", or "An account with this email already exists." | |
| Password | At least 8 characters with a letter and a digit (the hint reads "At least 8 characters with a letter and a digit"). | "Use at least 8 characters", "Include at least one letter and one digit", or "Password is too long (max 72 bytes)" |
Below the fields are the Create account button and "Already have an account? Sign in".
What you can do
Create account
Creates the organization and your user account together, and signs you in.
What happens next:
- You land on the Dashboard with the message "Welcome to NirmaanOne! Check your inbox to verify your email."
- You hold the Administrator role, which has every permission.
- The organization starts with the default roles, lookups and default settings, so you can begin setting up projects straight away.
- You also appear in Contacts as a user, with the email you signed up with.
- A verification email is sent to your address. Until you open it, an amber banner asks you to verify. You have 30 days; after that NirmaanOne refuses sign-in until you verify. See Verify email.
If a field is refused, the message appears under that field. Correct it and click Create account again.
If you already have an account, click Sign in to go back to the Sign in page.
Things to know
- The name, the email and the GSTIN (when given) must all be new. No two organizations can share a name (capital letters don't count as a difference) or a GSTIN, and one email can belong to only one account. This keeps one company from ending up with two separate sets of books.
- A GSTIN left blank can be added once later. Under Settings > Organization the GSTIN field stays editable until it is saved; after that it is fixed.
- Your email is your sign-in name. There is no separate username.
- Next steps: invite your team from Settings > Users, check the default roles under Settings > Roles & Permissions, and fill in your organization details under Settings > Organization.
