Dashboard

The page you land on after signing in: shortcuts to common jobs, a queue of what is waiting on you, the headline figures and one card each for projects, sales, stock, receivables, construction and the RERA accounts.

Dashboard

The dashboard is your starting point each day. It greets you, offers shortcuts to the jobs you do most, lists what is waiting on you, and shows the state of the business in a set of cards. What you see depends on your roles.

Where to find it

You land here after signing in. To come back, click Dashboard at the top of the sidebar or the NirmaanOne name in the top bar.

Anyone signed in can open the page. The figures and cards below the shortcuts need the View permission on Dashboard, which every default role has, plus the permission for each card's own subject.

What you see

From top to bottom:

Greeting

Today's date, "Good morning", "Good afternoon" or "Good evening" with your first name (or your email), and your organization's name. Below it the heading "What would you like to do today?".

Shortcut tiles

Up to six tiles, each shown only if you have the permission behind it:

Tile Hint Opens Who sees it
Start a project Promoter, towers and RERA setup New project the Create permission on Projects
New opportunity Capture a lead or a walk-in New opportunity the Create permission on Opportunities
Price a unit Open the opportunity and build its estimate Opportunities the Create permission on Estimates
Record a receipt Money in, against a demand Record payment, set to a receipt the Create permission on Payments
Raise demands Bill the installments that have fallen due Demand runs the Create permission on Demands
Run a report Trial balance, ageing, RERA accounts Reports, on its first tab, the Ledger report the View permission on Reports
My tasks Everything assigned to you Tasks the View permission on Tasks

Only the first six you qualify for are shown, in this order. An administrator qualifies for all seven, so My tasks doesn't appear for them; use the My work card or the sidebar instead.

Project and Period

A bar with two choices that the cards below follow:

  • Project: "All projects" (shown as "All projects (N)" with the count when there is more than one) or one project. Shown only with the View permission on Projects.
  • Period: This month, This quarter, This financial year or Last 12 months (the default).

On a wide screen the bar adds "Counts and balances are as of now; totals cover" the chosen period.

Cards

The cards appear in an order suited to your work (see Things to know). Each one appears only with the permissions listed.

Needs you (no extra permission). Your work queue: one row per kind of item waiting, with a count, the money involved where there is any, and a link to the list that holds them. A red dot marks a blocker, amber means it needs attention. Blockers come first, then the biggest counts. The card's description says "N blockers across N checks" or "N checks, no blockers". When the queue is empty: "Nothing is waiting on you".

You only get the rows you can act on:

Row Kind Needs Opens
Demands overdue ("Past their due date and not fully paid") blocker the View permission on Demands Demands, open and overdue
Demands due within 7 days attention the View permission on Demands Demands, open
Installments due but never billed ("Schedule rows past their due date with no demand raised") blocker the Create permission on Demands Demand runs

My tasks overdue blocker the View permission on Tasks Tasks

The key-figure tiles (a row of tiles with no heading of its own; each tile needs its own permission). Each tile opens its list. Collected, Output GST and Booked also compare with the same number of days just before the period, for example "+12.5% vs the window before", or say "no earlier figure to compare" when there was nothing in the earlier window.

Tile What it counts Needs
Collected Cleared receipts in the period, with a 12-month trend line. the View permission on Payments
Outstanding What buyers still owe on open demands today, with "… of it overdue". the View permission on Demands
Output GST Tax on demands dated in the period. "On demands issued in the period, not a filed liability." the View permission on Demands
Booked Agreed value of active bookings dated in the period, with the number of bookings and a trend line. the View permission on Bookings
Absorption Share of saleable units that are Booked or Sold: "N of N saleable units booked or sold". the View permission on Towers, Floors & Units
Payouts due "Approved commissions and member benefits past their due date." the View permission on Commissions or Payments

Collection velocity (the View permission on Demands or Payments). "Billed, collected and paid out over the last twelve months": issued demands by demand date, cleared receipts and payouts by payment date. Empty: "No money has moved yet".

Projects at a glance (the View permission on Projects). "Inventory, money and construction for every project". One row per project: Project (city and type, and "· not ready to sell" in red when a setup step blocks selling), Absorption (bar, percentage and units taken of saleable), Booked, Collected, Outstanding (red when anything is overdue), Built (percentage of construction done) and Next stage (the next stage's name with "Nd behind", "by" a date or "no date set", or "Every stage done"). Booked, Collected and Outstanding are left out when you can't view bookings, payments or demands. Under the table: "Booked value from active bookings, collected from cleared receipts, outstanding from issued demands", or "Readiness is left out above 30 projects; open a project to see it". Ten projects per page. Empty: "No projects yet" with Start a project.

My work (the View permission on Tasks). Your first six open tasks, soonest due first, with "N open" or "N open, N overdue", High and Urgent badges, and "Overdue since", "Due" or "No due date". Click a task to open it on the Tasks page; All tasks opens the full list. Empty: "No open tasks" and "Tasks assigned to you - by a colleague or by a workflow rule - appear here."

Sales funnel (the View permission on Opportunities). "Opportunities opened in" the period, as bars for Lead, Estimate, Approval and Booked, each with its count and "x% of the step before", each opening its list. Underneath: "x% of leads booked" or "Nothing booked yet", "· N lost" when any were lost, and the amount "booked". Note: "A stage counts once it has been reached, even if the opportunity was later lost". Empty: "No opportunities in this period".

Inventory absorption (the View permission on Towers, Floors & Units). "Saleable units by configuration and status": one stacked bar per configuration, with "x% absorbed" in the corner. PAP and common units are not counted; the note reads "Saleable stock only", followed by "also held: N pap, N common" when there are any. Empty: "No units yet".

Receivables ageing (the View permission on Demands). "Open demands by how long they have been due": a donut of not due, 1-30, 31-60, 61-90 and 90+ days, a "Who owes the most" list (name, "N days late", amount, or "Nothing is past its due date."), and the overdue amount as a link to the overdue demands. Empty: "Nothing outstanding".

Construction progress (the View permission on Construction Stages). "N projects running behind" or "Every project on plan". Each project shows a badge (Nd behind, on plan or "no stages planned"), a bar, "x% built · N of N stages" (and "· N overdue"), "Next:" the next stage and its date, and a chip per tower with its own percentage. Click a project to open its Construction Stages tab. Empty: "No construction stages yet".

RERA accounts (the View permission on Payments). "N% of every collection swept to the separate account", with the source line "Cleared receipts and posted sweeps; the bank moves the money, NirmaanOne records it". One stacked bar per project, split into To the separate account, To the operative account, Unswept (cleared receipts into the collection account that no posted sweep has taken yet, Draft sweeps included) and Outside the collection account (cleared receipts banked into cash or any other account). Under the chart, a line per project reads "₹… collected · N% swept to separate · ₹… withdrawn" (the share and the withdrawn amount only when there are any), with a badge "in order", "unswept", "outside the collection account" or "accounts missing". Projects with nothing collected and nothing banked elsewhere are left out. Empty: "Nothing banked yet" and "Once receipts clear into a project's collection account, its sweeps appear here." The same figures sit on the project's RERA accounts card and in the RERA accounts statement; sweeps are posted under RERA sweeps.

If a card can't load, it says "Could not load this section. It will try again when you come back to the page."

What you can do

Choose a project

Pick a project in Project to narrow the queue, the tiles and the cards to it. Pick "All projects" to see everything.

Choose a period

Pick a Period. It changes the totals on the key-figure tiles and the sales funnel. Your choice of project and period is remembered in this browser and kept in the page's address, so a bookmark or a shared link opens the same view.

Open a shortcut, a row or a tile

Every shortcut, key-figure tile and queue row opens the list or page behind it, and so do the project names, funnel bars and links inside the cards. Nothing on the dashboard changes data; it only shows and links.

Things to know

  • The order of the cards follows your work. The app reads your permissions and leads with what you are most likely to need:

    • people who can change organization settings, and read-only roles, get the headline figures first;
    • people who approve payouts, post vouchers or issue demands get the queue, their tasks and the money cards first;
    • people who update construction stages or units (without working opportunities) get the projects table and construction first;
    • people who work opportunities or create estimates get the queue, their tasks and the sales funnel first.

With the default roles: Administrator, Auditor, Rehab Officer and Legal & Documentation get the first order; Finance Lead and Accountant the second; Project Manager, Site Engineer and Compliance Officer (who can update construction stages) the third; Sales Manager, Sales Executive and Front Desk the fourth.

  • Without the dashboard permission (the View permission on Dashboard) you see only the greeting, the shortcuts and, if you can view tasks, My work.

  • The period doesn't change everything. It drives the key-figure totals and the sales funnel. Collection velocity always covers the last twelve months, and the other cards and counts are as of today.

  • Quarters and years are financial. Quarters run April-June, July-September and so on, and the financial year starts on 1 April.

  • These are operational figures, not the ledger. Money on the dashboard comes from issued demands (what the buyer has to pay in money: the total billed less the TDS they are expected to deduct) and cleared receipts, not from posted vouchers. A TDS credit changes neither figure. Until vouchers are posted the figures may not match the accounting reports. How each figure is worked out is in Dashboard figures.

  • A stage in the funnel counts once it is reached, even if the opportunity was later lost. Purchases by allottees are left out.

  • Readiness is skipped for very large portfolios. Above 30 projects, the "Projects not ready to sell" check and the red "not ready to sell" marks are left out; open a project to see its readiness (see Project readiness and the RERA gate).

  • "Estimates expiring soon" uses the estimate validity set for your organization or project; when an estimate's validity passes, the unit hold is released.

  • Overdue tasks near midnight. Between midnight and 5:30 in the morning, a task due the day before may not show as overdue yet in My work.

  • Project readiness and the RERA gateConcept

A project is ready to sell and collect once it has a promoter entity with books, the collection, RERA separate and operative bank accounts with their ledgers, and, when the organization requires it, a RERA registration whose validity covers today; bookings and allottee purchases wait for all of it, estimates only for RERA.

  • RERA accounts and the daily sweepConcept

Every buyer payment enters the project's collection account; the bank sweeps it daily, the escrow share (70% under RERA 2016, or the project's own share) to the RERA separate account and the rest to the operative account. NirmaanOne mirrors the sweep as a Contra voucher per receipt the moment it clears, records certified withdrawals from the separate account, warns on receipts banked elsewhere and reports where the money stands; it never moves the money itself.

  • Estimate validity and the unit holdConcept

A sent estimate holds its unit (and the parking slots it picked) for that buyer until its Valid until date; the hold starts on sending, can be extended with a reason, and an hourly job expires the estimate and frees the unit the day after the date passes.
