Verify email
The page the verification link in your email opens: it confirms your email address, or lets you ask for a new link when the old one has expired.
Verify email
This page confirms that your email address really is yours. You reach it by clicking the link in the "Verify your email address" email that NirmaanOne sends when you create an organization, or when you ask for a new link.
Where to find it
Click the link in the verification email. You don't need to be signed in.
A new verification email can be requested from these places:
- Resend email in the amber banner at the top of the app (see Sidebar, top bar and notifications bell);
- Resend verification email on the Account card of My Profile;
- Resend verification email on this page, when a link has failed;
- the sign-in page itself, once the 30 days to verify have passed: each sign-in refused for that reason sends a new link.
What you see
While the link is being checked: "Verifying your email…".
Then one of these:
| Heading | What it means |
|---|---|
| "Email verified" | "Thanks, your email address is confirmed." Your email now shows as Verified on My Profile and the amber banner goes away. |
| "This verification link is invalid" | The link has expired or is damaged. |
| "This verification link is incomplete" | The address is missing part of the link, usually because it was copied only partly. |
Both failure headings are followed by "Verification links expire after 24 hours."
What you can do
Go to dashboard
Shown after a successful check when you are signed in in this browser. Opens the Dashboard.
Sign in
Shown after a successful check when you are not signed in. Opens Sign in with the notice "Email verified. Sign in to continue."
Resend verification email
Shown when the link failed and you are signed in. Sends a fresh link to your email address. The button reads "Sending…" while it works, then you see "A new verification email has been sent." or "Email could not be sent right now." Back to dashboard returns you to the app.
If you are not signed in, you see "Sign in to request a new link" instead. Sign in and use the banner or My Profile to ask for a new link. Once the 30 days have passed, signing in is refused but sends you a new link by itself.
Things to know
-
A link lasts 24 hours. After that, ask for a new one.
-
Clicking the link twice does no harm. An address that is already verified stays verified.
-
You have 30 days to verify. For 30 days after your account was created you can use all of NirmaanOne without verifying; the amber banner and My Profile show the date ("Verify by <date>; after that you cannot sign in until you do."). After that date:
- signing in with the right password is refused with "Verify your email address to sign in. We have sent a new verification link to <email>." (or "Verify your email address to sign in. We could not send a new verification link right now; try again later." when the email could not go out);
- if you are already signed in, your session ends within about 15 minutes and you are sent to the sign-in page;
- AI assistants connected as you stop working until you verify and connect them again.
Open the new link, then sign in as usual. See Cannot sign in.
-
Invited users don't need this page. Accepting an invitation from the emailed link already proves the address, so it is marked verified at once.
