Projects

The list of every project in your organization, with search, type filters and shortcuts to open, set up or edit a project.

Projects

This is the list of every development your organization runs. Use it to find a project, open it, carry on with its setup, or start a new one.

Where to find it

In the sidebar, open the Projects group and choose Projects. The Projects breadcrumb at the top of every project page also brings you back here.

You need the View permission on Projects to see the list. Without it the page shows "No access" and "You do not have permission to view projects. Ask your administrator."

What you see

The page header reads "Every development your organization runs: its site, structure, society and pricing."

Above the grid you have:

  • Search: type part of a project name, the site city or the RERA registration number (placeholder "Search by name, city or RERA no.").
  • Project type filter: All types, New Development or Redevelopment.
  • Property type filter: All properties, Residential, Commercial or Mixed.

The grid columns:

Column What it shows
Project The project name, which opens the project, with its description underneath.
Type Two badges: the project type (New Development or Redevelopment) and the property type.
City The site city, with the state underneath.
Society The society linked to the project, as a link to that society, or "—" when none is linked.
Structure "N towers · N units", and once there are units, "N sellable" underneath.
Created The date the project was created.
Actions The row's shortcut icons.

The list is sorted by project name, A to Z, when it opens. Click a column title to sort by it (Actions can't be sorted). When there are no projects the grid reads "No projects yet".

What you can do

New project

Opens the New project page, where you enter the basics and site address and create the project.

  • Who: anyone with the Create permission on Projects. In the default roles that is the Administrator and the Project Manager. Without the permission the button isn't shown.

Open

The first icon on each row (tooltip "Open"), or a click on the project name, opens the Project overview.

  • Who: anyone who can see this list.

Setup wizard

The sparkle icon (tooltip "Setup wizard") opens the Project setup wizard on the next step that still needs work.

  • Who: anyone with the Edit permission on Projects. Without it the icon isn't shown.

Edit

The pencil icon (tooltip "Edit") opens Edit project, where you can change any project detail.

  • Who: anyone with the Edit permission on Projects. Without it the icon isn't shown.

Things to know

  • Projects can't be deleted. There is no delete action, and the app refuses to delete a project even from outside the screens ("Projects cannot be deleted"). This keeps the bookings, offers and accounting that hang off a project intact.
  • "Sellable" means ready to sell now. It counts units that are designated Saleable and still Available. Units reserved or allotted to tenants, units on hold for a buyer, booked, sold or blocked units, and PAP or common-use units are not counted.
  • Everyone who can view projects sees every project in the organization.
  • The project type is labelled New Development in the filter and the badges, but New development on the create form. They are the same type.
  • Your organization can rename the grid's column titles, so your screen may use different words.
