Bookings

The list of every booking in your organization, with project, status and date filters and a search by booking number, applicant name or phone, to find a booking and open it.

Bookings

This is the list of every unit your organization has sold: who booked it, for how much, how much has come in, and whether the booking is still live. Use it to find a booking and open it.

Where to find it

In the sidebar, open the CRM group and choose Bookings. The Bookings breadcrumb at the top of every booking page brings you back here, as does the Booked stage of the sales funnel on the dashboard.

You see the Bookings entry in the sidebar with any permission on Bookings, but the list itself needs the View permission on Bookings. Without it the page shows "No access" and "You do not have permission to view bookings. Ask your administrator." In the default roles every role except Site Engineer can view bookings.

Before you start

There is no "new booking" button here. A booking is made from an approved estimate on the opportunity, through the booking wizard.

What you see

The page header reads "Units sold: the applicants, the agreed price and the payment schedule on the termsheet. Bookings are created from an approved estimate on the opportunity."

Above the grid you have:

  • Project filter (placeholder "All projects"). It appears only when you also have the View permission on Projects.
  • Status filter (placeholder "Any status"): Active or Cancelled.
  • Two date pickers to narrow the list by booking date (from and to). They carry no visible label; screen readers announce them as Booked from and Booked to.
  • Search (placeholder "Search by booking no., name or phone"). It matches the booking number and the primary applicant's first name, last name and phone.

The grid columns:

Column What it shows
Booking The booking number, which opens the booking.
Applicant The primary applicant's name, with their phone underneath.
Unit The unit number, with "project · tower" underneath.
Booked on The booking date.
Agreed The agreed total, GST included, copied from the approved estimate at booking.
Paid Money received against the booking's demands, with "of ₹… scheduled" underneath (the total of the payment schedule).
Status Active (green) or Cancelled (red).
(unlabelled) The row's Open icon.

The list opens sorted by booking date, newest first. Click a column title to sort by it; the icon column can't be sorted. When nothing matches, the grid reads "No bookings match".

What you can do

Open

The icon at the end of each row (tooltip "Open"), or a click on the booking number, opens the Booking overview.

  • Who: anyone who can see this list.

Statuses

  • Active: the booking stands; the unit is booked (or, for an allottee's purchase, stays allotted), the schedule is live and demands can be raised.
  • Cancelled: the booking was cancelled through the Cancel booking wizard. The unit and parking slots were released (an allottee's unit went back to its earlier status) and the opportunity was marked lost. A cancelled booking can't be reactivated.

Things to know

  • "Paid" counts money settled against demands only. A receipt held as an advance, not yet allocated to a demand, is not in the figure, so a booking with an advance on it can show less paid than the buyer has actually handed over.
  • Everyone who can view bookings sees every booking in the organization; the Project filter is there to narrow the list, not to restrict it.
  • Your organization can rename the grid's column titles, so your screen may use different words (see Rename labels).
